If you could change/improve ONE thing at Cap Centre, what would it be?
New paint (including colour) in the hallways? New carpets? Plants and furniture in the lobbies? Security cameras? Having the buzzers accesible to the public? A greenhouse or botanical garden instead of the pool? The pool? Anything at all!
(Please note that this wishlist doesn't mean that any of things will happen - or at least not anytime soon - the goal is just to generate ideas and see what the residents would like to see happen in the building).
Random things.
The Buzzer system hasn't worked since I moved in almost 2 years ago.
There's always something wrong with the elevators.
The glaring lack of security.
Esthetically the buildings hallways and lobby are depressing.
The 'Gym' is lackluster.
Units are overpriced, rent-wise.
Bins
The Alley behind the building is an atrocity. Forgot to add that.
Workout Room
I would like to see a set of solid free weights (http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/01/0f/de/73/at-last-free-...), the total gym be repaired, cable tv put in there, and better ventilation to keep it cool in the summer
the 'total gym' that whole
the 'total gym' that whole thing needs to be scrapped. a refurbished or gently used (noone really wears these things out) would cost much less, and be much better than the unit we currently have being repaired.
and as much as i'd want some freeweights up there, i'd be willing to bet they'd be stolen in relatively short order.
we'd have to have a better security system (IE: cardswipe/keyfob, cameras) before putting those in
then after that, throw in a tv + dvd player for tv/workout videos
Wishlist
A water softening system to prevent pin-hole leaks from occuring in the old pipes. Thus, less water shutdowns.
WISHLIST
Buzzer accesiblility
Visitor parking for friends/family
Shut off valves for plumbing in each suite
Get both the last 2 done and the residence will appreciate that alot more than a coat of paint.
