Capital Centre

I was stuck in the elevator yesterday on the 6th floor (Saturday) and the new call button only gives out a busy signal. Does this safety feature even work? This is a serious liability to the condo board if there was a medical emergency and someone needed to leave the building without access to the stairs. I know there is an elderly lady on the 3rd floor who uses a walker and also a person in this building with a serious leg injury that rely on the elevator. The stairs are not even an option for these people.
