Hot water tank temperature set too high. Anyone want to save energy bill and the environment?

I wonder if we can lower the hot water temperature by 5 - 10 degree during summer time will save some energy. Instead of running fan on each floor 24hrs a day may be consider once every two - three hours ( Except floods). Air conditioning should be off after 3:30am instead of 24hrs everyday. Anyone like my idea?
