ive just noticed in the past day or two, when i crank the hot water in the kitchen sink to boil some water or whatever, its not as hot as it usually is
normally i cant stand to have that run over my hand at full tilt, but last night it was actually bearable
same thing in the shower, i have to turn the knob further towards the HOT to get the same temperature i'm used to
whats the deal?

I've noticed this as well in the past few days.
In fact I've noticed this occur occasionally throughout the entire time I've lived in the building. It always seems to sort itself out though within a matter of days. I'm not sure what causes it, maybe building maintenance can provide an explanation?
