Elevators?

Does anyone have any idea what is being done about the elevators in Centre Tower? They have been very unreliable the past few weeks--on two occasions we've had to use the stairs instead. I saw a guy from an elevator repair company yesterday and asked if he was fixing the elevator. His response: "Sort of. There is a LOT to be fixed." What does that mean? Anyone know anything?
Elevators
It means our elevators (in all 3 towers) are in bad shape. This is common knowledge to anyone who lives in the building, but likely comes as a surprise to said elevator repair-man (and I won't go any further, just because I don't want to be accused of libel by the former company).
The elevators (in all 3 towers) are scheduled to undergo MAJOR upgrades over the next three years; this year will be south tower, year 2 center, year 3 north. All cars will be overhauled to modern technology. In the interim, Sterling will be maintaining the elevators, but as they are in such bad shape, there will be some painful days. But, Sterling is invested in being here, so if you can bear with us, all will be well. But it will get worse before it gets better. There's no getting around that.
