Court Papers Under Door...

For the second time, I've had court papers slipped under my door that are not for me. From the looks of it, Larlyn is suing either a past tenant of this unit, or the owner.

Obvious privacy issue aside, any idea what I should do? Last time, I just slipped them back under the office door, but since Larlyn is gone, will Celtic handle it? You'd think Larlyn would know that this person doesn't live here anymore, considering I've been paying them rent for the past 2 years!

Thanks in advance.

Papers

I think I can now say, with no need for diplomacy, that I believe Larlyn are (and have proven themselves well over) an organization of bumbling idiots.

I think the question is more, WHEN were these papers delivered to you? Larlyn was gone (really) in our building the day Shirley left (Oct. 22), although not officially until the 31st. If the papers came after the former, WHO delivered those papers becomes a pressing question. If the latter, Larlyn no longer has the authority to enter the premises, so that is of even bigger concern to me.

I'm not going to be able to offer you much advice on what the proper thing to do is; I really don't know. I would deliver it to Celtic and inform them of the situation. They're going to inherit whatever mess Larlyn has left behind, so you bringing it to them early will likely help expidiate the process.

Please contact me about this (capcentrechris@ymail.com). I am very concerned about the timelines, and this could be evidence that warrants legal action.
