Capital Centre

The situation with the elevators in south tower is becoming beyond a joke. In the past week, they've both been broken down at the same time on at least four different occasions that I know of. As annoying as it is to pay a ridiculous amount of money to live in this building, and yet have to go over to centre tower, take their elevator to the ninth floor, and then hoof it across the pedway and up the stairs the rest of the way, at least I have that option. What is the woman with the walker who was sitting in the lobby for god knows how long waiting for the elevator this evening supposed to do?

What has to happen for SOMEONE to finally take this situation seriously and find a permanent solution to this problem? I have lived in this building for almost 2 years, and the elevators have never been fully operational. What happens if a resident has a heart attack in his or her unit, and dies because the paramedics are stuck in the lobby waiting for the busted-ass elevator that will never come? Does someone have to die before something is done?
