Does anyone know where to get those special keys that we need to use to shut-off their water to the bathroom?? My roommate decided that he was going to play plumber this weekend and nearly flooded the world. We had no way to shut our water off!!!
what sort of suite are you in (layout)?
should be a couple of shutoff valves under a sink somewhere. with the special key talked about in this thread, those valves can be turned off, and that should stop all water to the bathroom(s) and the washing machine as well
I'm in a three bedroom and I think I located it under my bedroom bathroom sink. Does anyone have a shut off key I can borrow? I need to replace my the seal and valve to my washing machine.
I don't think you understand how this works... When its a bidding war to buy something the price should go down, not up. Its a supply vs demand thing... and looks like the market is flooded!
touche, matt. you've just rendered useless my economics major! all that time wasted :(
anyways, i might have a way for you to get that key for free. i'll email you later.
In case anyone is still wondering, I bought one at Amre Supply (10528 - 123 St) a couple of weeks ago. It's called a Stop Key, part number 109130. $12.75
That's exactly where I got mine! It was cheaper to buy it from Amre than to rent it from the maintenance guy at the time. (I don't know if the new maintenance guy offers any services to owners, but I'm referring to the previous one.)

I personal doesn't like
I personal doesn't like maintenance guy. He charge too much on the side.
Maintenance Guy
We have a new one. One who is honest. The new one wouldn't charge you for the keys, so I have to assume you mean the old one.
