Besides myself I do hear lots of other tenants talking about having a working intercom for ie, Family and friends, food deliveries, canada Post and UPS and other delivery services. So many times they come to deliver and can't reach anyone. It seems a bit to much to completly shut down the intercom. Maybe there is a way to hook up for tenants that want it and for those that don't want it then that is respectfully their choice. have a grat day.

Larlyn let this system go to pot, and Celtic said - outright - that they weren't going to fix it. A&O has stated that they would like to have it functioning again. So, contact them, and they can help get it hooked up for you.
That said, unless you live in the center tower, the system is all but useless. Center is open to allow for elevator usage for the commercial areas of the parkade; the other two towers are locked after 1pm (to prevent homeless people from squatting in the vestibules. And by squatting, I use it in both contexts). So, even working, the buzzer systems in those spots aren't very effective.
As any resident still has to come down to let someone up the elevator, in all towers, just having any visitors call you when they arrive is still the best and easiest choice.
